The Princess and the Cage Fighter
0Not that it warrants any more media attention, but we just can’t help being constantly gobsmacked at Katie Price’s antics. Most recent of which, of course, was tying the knot with simpleton cage fighter Alex Reid. We know, we know, he’s a nice guy. He won the heart of all Celeb BB watchers when he was crowned victorious, beating Vinnie Jones to the title as winner of this year’s show, and we have to say we were even warming to him ourselves. But he’s hardly the sharpest tool in the box, and this quickie wedding with the UK’s most hated tabloid star just proves it. We’re giving it six months, tops – he may still have a chance to salvage his profile (it’s certainly done Peter Andre, UK’s most pitied man, any harm) and actually pursue the acting career he keeps banging on about, but only if he gets out fast and admits it was all one massive error of judgement.
We won’t even go into what we feel for the poor children involved, but at least Katie and Peter seem to be dedicated parents, amid all the media mudslinging. Peter Andre, certainly, was on BBC Radio 1 in the UK with Chris Moyles first thing this morning, ‘reluctantly’ talking about his ex, maintaining adamant that as long as his three kids (Junior, Princess Tiaamii and stepson Harvey) were happy, he couldn’t care less what she does. Which is constantly working in his favour. Moyles replied with, “If I were you I’d try and get custody of the kids, I’d get them out of there,” - a sentiment he’s not alone in.
C’mon Reidonator, we’re all waiting for you to see the light, and if you do so reasonably quickly, all will be forgiven. But stall for too much more time, and you may have overshot the one true opportunity for fame you so clearly crave.
