Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck have welcomed their second daughter, PEOPLE confirms exclusively.

The actress’s rep says: “Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl.”

The baby was born Tuesday in Los Angeles. No other details were immediately available.

Garner and Affleck, both 36, are also parents to daughter Violet, 3.

In the weeks leading up to the birth, Garner, stayed close to home, picking up Violet from preschool and even treating herself to a mani-pedi.

Just days before giving birth, Garner was spotted with Violet at the Farmer’s Market in Pacific Palisades and grabbing a decaf coffee at Caffe Luxxe in Santa Monica with a girlfriend.

Former Alias costar and close friend Victor Garber says the actress needs no help in the mommy department.

“It’s her second child,” Garber told PEOPLE. “She knows what to do. She’s probably the best mother I’ve ever witnessed.”

Garner confirmed her second pregnancy in August.

Treated Badly when I visited KL

Hi all,

my husband, another couple and I will be moving to KL next month and I need some advice. My husband is Canadian (caucasian) and I was born in Fiji (indian descent) but raised in Canada and have lived in Canada all my life. The other couple Pete and Lisa are Australian and are causcasian.

I have been fortunate enough to never have encountered any racism or negativity against the color of my skin until our visit to KL a few weeks ago. So this is my situation.

Lisa and I went shopping at Time Square and one of the things on my list was to buy a pair of D&G;sunglasses. Anyways, we went into an optical place and I found a pair that I wanted to purchase but as I had them on and asking Lisa what she thought of them the sales lady came and asked Lisa if she wanted to try on the glasses that I had on. Lisa said “no” and then the sales lady asked her if there was anything else she could help Lisa with and did not acknowledge me at all. We both couldn’t believe what just happened and we walked out.

We then went to a clothing store and I held up a dress to my body and asked Lisa what she thought. A sales lady came up and asked Lisa if she wanted to try on the dress that I was holding up and Lisa again said “no” we were both so disgusted that we ended up leaving the mall. I told my husband what happened and started to cry because I could not believe people would treat other people like that. Needless to say my outlook in moving to KL is not good.

I’ve talked to a couple of my co-workers who are Malaysian and they said that unfortunately Malaysia is like that. A person with white skin will always be treated better my question to you all is - is this true?

I’ve told my husband and Lisa that if this happens again when we’re in KL I am going to raise my voice and question why I am receiving that sort of treatment the only problem is that I’ve read its really bad to get into an argument in public. If something like this happened in North America a customer would be able to file a complaint with the manager and head office and the matter would be rectified. Why does KL not have the same sort of policy for anyone working in a public enviroment?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hi all, looking for some opinions here...I’ve been with my boyfriend for over a year and I love him so much. We’ve talked about marriage, kids, etc. and I definitely want all of that with him. My problem is that a couple of years ago, before I even knew him, I wasn’t feeling particularly good about myself and had a few 1-night stands, which probably only made me feel worse as it happens! Anyway, my boyfriend has pretty strong views about this kind of thing and so I’ve outright lied to him about it and now the guilt is killing me as I know if he were ever to find out the truth it’d crush him and I’d be a completely different person to him...am I right to feel guilty about something that happened before I even knew him? It’s more the fact that I’ve lied to him about it, it’s not even lying by omission…

Fred Elliot returns to Corrie as spirit

The spirit of Coronation Street’s dead butcher Fred Elliot is to make its presence felt in Weatherfield when it ‘possesses’ trainee meat seller Graeme Proctor.

Graeme - played by relative soap newcomer Craig Gazey - finds Fred’s (John Savident) old straw boater at Ashley’s (Steven Arnold) butcher’s and begins to wear it on a day-to-day basis.

Corrie residents are soon stunned to hear Graeme take on the repetitive speech pattern of the late character.

One script sees Graeme tell Ashley that he found the hat “from that rack, I say, from that rack in the back”.

Also, when barmaid Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) compliments Graeme on his boater, he apparently replies: “Eeh, that’s right kind of you Michelle, I say right kind - in’t it our Ashley?”

A Corrie source told The Sun: “This storyline will be absolutely hilarious. The character of Graeme is proving to be one of our funniest and this will be laughs all the way.”

They added: “We’ve even talked about having the hat exorcised, which would be fantastic telly.”

The larger-than-life butcher suffered a heart attack in October 2006 and died in the hallway of his close friend Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls).

Last month, John Savident expressed his disappointment with Coronation Street chiefs, claiming that they didn’t try hard enough to accommodate his request for a lighter workload, while also cutting back on bonuses.

More recently, he criticised the younger Corrie cast for their attitude toward their acting roles.

According to a survey just published, women diet most at this time of year. Diet books fly off the shelf; the newest one being The Lunch Box Diet, developed by a leading media featured fitness guru Simon Lovell. The diet is based around eating your normal breakfast and dinner but then grazing from your pre-prepared ‘lunch box’ during the day at regular intervals. One of its benefits being that you don’t have to give up alcohol and all treats, it all also promises to give you beautiful hair, skin, nails, improved cardiovascular health, strong bones and improved immunity and defence against illness. Is there anything this diet doesn’t do? But do they really work or is it almost always just a fad? Remember Atkins? Possibly one of the most successful of all of the new diets in recent years, even people who had never dieted were trying it, the big seller being that you could eat all the yummy stuff that you had always been told was bad for you. Yet in the end, it was impossible for anyone to sustain and unsurprisingly the medical issues of suddenly switching to lots of fatty protein was a concern. What the study has discovered though is that 48% of Irish women feel good about how they look, their waistline being the one thing that most would like to change, so do we need diets at all?
