Happy Friday everyone. This morning our office is divided. No, not over the national debt or the Electrical union voting to strike on not receiving an 11% wage increase (what’s that about?), it’s Cheryl Cole’s “new look”. The singer has apparently been trying to ditch her ‘wag’ style in favour of something more tasteful, following on the heels of Victoria Beckham who allegedly had breast implants taken out recently as part of a re-makeover that was more in keeping with her designer/fashion life. Cheryl has apparently about to undergo a £10,000 painful de-wag in preparation for an X-Factor showdown with Dannii Minogue. Part of the plan is said to be gathering a team of experts to dress her in the hottest designers around, from Preen to Rupert Sanderson. The star is also said to want to get rid of her snake tattoo on her upper thigh, and to loose her famous hair extensions.
But we are not so sure about this plan having seen the first pictures of her birthday party-bash this week. The hair was definitely sized-down, but the dress? Pink tassels, creeping vines, it was something akin to a rhinestone garden. We love you Cheryl, but our jury is out on this one.
