CELEBRITY WIRE 20.01.12

Halle Berry's stalker has been sentenced to 386 days in prison.

Richard Franco - who was arrested last July after the actress' private security caught him trespassing on her home in the Hollywood Hills - struck a deal with prosecutors by pleading no contest to felony stalking in exchange for dropping a felony burglary charge.

Franco has already served 193 days in jail, so will only have to stay behind bars for another 193 days. According to gossip website TMZ.com, Franco was also sentenced to five years probation after he completes his sentence as well as one year of psychological therapy sessions.

The judge also extended Halle's three-year restraining order against Franco, which requires him to stay at least 200 yards away from her and her three-year-old daughter Nahla for the next 10 years. Franco was caught on the property three times in three days, and on one occasion broke into her guest house.

He was also caught spying on Halle through a kitchen door, which caused her to call police.

Victoria Beckham had to sit next to the toilet during the royal wedding.

The fashion designer and her soccer star spouse David were invited to the nuptials of Britain's Prince William and Catherine Middleton last April but because Victoria was heavily pregnant with her daughter Harper, she wanted to make sure she had easy access to the restrooms at Westminster Abbey.

During a live chat for Google+, David revealed: "My wife was eight months pregnant and she was worried where we were going to be sitting.

"She needed to be as close to the restroom as possible in case she needed to go. But when we got there, we had perfect seats, she was able to see William and Kate while being five paces away from the restroom."

David - who also has three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, and six-year-old Cruz, with Victoria - says they were thrilled to be invited to the wedding as it was such a huge day for Britain. He said: "We had to pinch ourselves when we got the invite. I've become friends with Prince William and his brother Harry as well.

The royal wedding was a huge thing for our country and gave our country a huge lift. Being there was incredible."

Jennifer Garner says husband Ben Affleck isn't "sure" if he wants a son.

The '13 Going On 30' actress is currently pregnant with the couple's third child and while the actor initially wanted their two daughters to have a baby brother, now he isn't convinced.

She told Jay Leno: "I would have thought [he wanted a boy]. At first I think I really thought so. And then he kind of said, 'Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I'm the big guy in the house.' So, now I'm not sure."

Jennifer - who knows the sex of the baby - says the couple's daughters, Violet, six, and three-year-old Seraphina, want to name the baby but she isn't sure about their choices.

She said: "Our girls are working on names. At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck.

And then they've moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee. "They're coming up with lists and coming in and saying, 'Let's have a baby-naming contest! Let's have a baby-naming poll!' They ask everyone, because they just want to know. But we're not telling."

Jennifer Aniston is adopting a new dog.

The 'Marley and Me' actress - who was left devastated by the death of her beloved pet pooch Norman last year - has decided to start 2012 off in style by getting a new canine friend.

A source told America's Star magazine: "Jennifer decided to give herself a New Year's present to start the year off right - a new dog. "She has been in mourning since Norman died."

After visiting the Utah-based Best Friends Animal Society, Jennifer, 42, fell in love with a shepherd mix and wants to give the dog a loving family. The source added: "Jen is ready to give another needy dog a home."

Last year, Jennifer - who is dating actor Justin Theroux - got a tattoo in homage to Norman, by having his name tattooed on the inside of her right foot. Explaining the inking she said: "That's my dog. My baby who just passed away. "I never thought that would ever happen. It's just my way to pay homage to him - forever."

Norman, a Welsh corgi-terrier mix, accompanied Jennifer - who also has a white German Shepherd named Dolly - everywhere, including on film location shoots, but he passed away last May due to complications from his old age.

Katherine Heigl is "ready for another baby".

The 'One for the Money' actress - who already has three-year-old adopted daughter Naleigh with husband Josh Kelley - says the couple are keen to add to their family and would like another child in the near future.

Katherine - who adopted Naleigh when she was nine months old - told 'Access Hollywood': "I would love to have another one. I'm ready for another baby! I mean, it's been two years."

Katherine loves being a mother to little Naleigh and admits she's been blessed with a very well behaved child. She said: "She's a really good girl. All kids go through their little phases and she'll have her moments of stubbornness or, you know, snottiness, but generally speaking, she's a surprising, wonderful, good-natured, and charming kid.

"She doesn't have a lot of those moments, so I'm really proud of her. I just think she's really special." However, the former 'Grey's Anatomy' star admits it can be hard being a working mother and spending time away from her daughter.

She said: "When I take a job I do have to look at my daughter and have to tell her, 'I'm going to work, you're not going to see me for a while.' I have to, in a way, disengage. Otherwise, my mind - I'm just split in so many directions.

"You feel like you're failing your child."
