morning ladies, sun has his hat on in north county Dublin quite nippy outside though, I think the weathers to be a mixed bag I even heard there may be lightening on the way, I think a thunder storm is in order that weather has my asthma all over the place, my mam keeps saying the clouds are too low and we need a good thunder storm, the poor thing its also playing havoc with her shes not taking much breaks from her oxygen as she should be due to the weather, shes in good form though had a nice day with her sisters and nieces over the weekend and myself,

hows everyone, twink enjoy the hols have a fab time, ger not long till your off either I’m well jel as they say in TOWIE, my hols not till later in the year, Tunney are you on the mend yet?

Was so tired yesterday thought the day would never end over indulged the weekend and I was wrecked yesterday, hope to get some running in later, have a great day everyone

Good morning all,
Showery and windy here this morning, not sure if its cold or not as I haven’t ventured outside yet.
Had a nice weekend, got my hair done on Saturday and went for a lovely meal on a barge on The Grand Canal last night with current Hubby and the two daughters. We had a little cruise on the canal too, the food was lovely and we all enjoyed it. Current Hubby spotted it on Groupon a while back and bought it.
Traniamh, I see you were busy with the party for the Doll. It brings me right back! I loved the photos of the cake, I bet she was thrilled with it.
Girls I am off to Spain for a week tomorrow so I might not be able to post, but I hope you all have a good week.

Morning Guys
What a wet and miserable morning it is!

I already got drenched three times and it’s only past mid day!

Kiwi did Scarie cry when you were modelling your dress for her? She is such a softie, I am guessing that she did!!!

Lots to do this weekend, we are getting the hair done on Saturday, then collect the dolls Wizard of Oz cake, mass and bed as we have the dolls 4th birthday party on Sunday afternoon!!! I cannot believe that she is 4!!!

Where is the time going?!!!

morning all the sun has made an appearance here , its not to last but hey enjoy when you can , im starting the cleaning of the house today actually hope to get the 2 done and over with it will be easy to keep this week only old darby and joan home daughter and hubby in sorrento for a week , i finished my book last night it was brill it was called [ the lies we told by Diane chaamberlain i will be looking at her other books to buy for my kindle for my holidays , best get to work happy wednesday lotto day all sure we all dream

MY DRESS IS HERE!!!! WOOO HOOO!!! Very impatitently waiting for Miss Scarie to come over this evening and lace it up for me! Of course I had to try it on already though. its so lovely! They’ve done an absolutely amazing job on it. I can’t beleive I got the whole lot (dress, peticoat and a jacket), made to my measurements for less than €300! (including shipping, which i think was about 50 euro!) On cloud 9 today!

Better go do my workout now, coz I don’t think I have too much room to put anything on between now and August! Wee heeee!!!!! (Definitly acting like Kermit the frog today waving hands madly in the air, I even have on a kermit coloured top )

Hello everyone,

I recently re-discovered this site having not looked at it for a few years. Great changes!

From Cork but have been living overseas for almost 15 years. I’m moving back next year, hence the renewed-interest in all things Irish. Looks like I may have missed the Celtic Tiger though :(

Look forward to chatting with everyone ! And hearing positive things about living in Ireland as the economic news isn’t very cheery at the moment!

Morning ladies, kept going at work this morning since 8.30 so taking takeout now to post. Dry day in Cork today TG after all the rain yesterday.

I am taking the long weekend as it comes. Have a good one all whatever ye get up to!
Forecast tomorrow is good for Cork and then more rain on Sunday!

Good morning all,
Can you believe its almost the weekend again, and a long one to boot! Really looking forward to the extra day off.
I am going out to dinner tonight with my pals, we haven’t seen each other for a while now so it should be a good catch up.
I watched that movie Invictus on RTE last night, its the one about Nelson Mandela and the rugby world cup. I loved it and thought it was the best movie I had seen in a while.

Morning all we finally have a sunny morning after all the rain. On Cork radio earlier they said we had the wettest April in 14 years!! It’s even sunnier for me didn’t I win €300 on Cork morning radio earlier, couldn’t come at a better time as I was sinking like the Titanic!!! Delighted and it put a spring in my step!! Me thinks May is going to be my month for good things to happen!! Defo going to do lotto tonight & I won’t forget my pals one here if I win big!

Back to work tomorrow so must get a few things done around the house and get out to the garden while we have the sun as I don’t think tomorrow is to be nice!

What an awful start to May? Its dark and dreary. I hope it brightens up later.
I went to see “Greener” last night, not in The Olympia like I said yesterday but in The Gaiety. It was only when I went to check on the performance time that I realised I had the wrong venue! It was very good, sad though to see the theatre only about half full. I love town in the evenings where its pedestrianised and people are sitting out having drinks and coffees.
Nothing much planned for today, just my paying work and daughter No 1 has left me a few bits to do for her as she has college this evening so wont get home till late.
Kiwi you must be getting super excited now about the upcoming nuptials.
